Too Cool For School

Each season, you can expect Daniel Palillo to take his weird and wicked sense of nostalgia, and twist it to form the building blocks of his collection.  His designs often reference the 90's and his teenage years with a sense of reverence, but his silhouettes could hardly be considered retro or vintage inspired. Instead, he takes key moments of the era that are still vivid in our pop cultural consciousness, like the catchphrase "Whatever," and Nirvana's song Loser, and emblazons them on his clothes, which are meant for the dystopian youth of the past, present, and future.  At the University of Palliloism, there's as much love for both drop outs and nerds as there is for jocks and cheerleaders.
