All Wrapped Up

Sorry for being so silent over here. Christina just completed her move into model Arlenis Sosa's former apartment (you'll have to hound her to put up photos), plus both of us have been working separate E.N.K. tradeshows since Sunday. Still, when I received an email featuring these stunning images of Karolina Zmarlak's Oviedo jacket, I couldn't help but share. Karolina's Fall collection, Fluid Foundations, is based heavily on a silhouette that caters to the natural human instinct to protect oneself, with fabric that layers and wraps around the body like a cocoon. Also, apparently most of these perfect-for-layering pieces are reversible, adding to their overall versatility. The collection will be arriving at Debut and Eva next week, both of which are incredible boutiques that nurture and represent some of New York's finest young designers. Pieces from the collection will also be on display at Takashimaya (my Mom's favorite department store) till Thursday, so make sure to stop by and take a look if you're in New York!
